Vintage brass hardware, intaglio glass stones, ribbons, lace, and vintage game pieces, combined with sterling silver and gold are just some of the high quality materials used in collections by Brehan Todd. Inspired by old things that have a story to tell, Brehan creates unique, one of a kind and small run lines for Fall, Spring and holiday seasons. Each collection is made up of around 200 designs in a wide range of styles and techniques all with a vintage aesthetic that is unique to the designer. Every design is handcrafted in the Sonoma Valley, California. Brehan’s passion for design began with an early appreciation for design and art. This interest grew into a career based out of New York City, beginning at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her interests evolved during frequents to flea markets and antique fairs in New England while working in New York City. After graduating with a bachelor of arts in Fashion Design, Brehan began developing her own line of sportswear made from vintage materials. Inspired by a commitment to sustainability and a love of old things and small things, Brehan launched her jewelry line, in Portland Oregon, for Spring of 2009. Brehan is committed to providing unique handmade, sustainable design for the accessories market. She finds inspiration in the beauty of the nature in the West Coast, as well as her rich history studying in dance, art, architecture, film, fine art, photography and yoga. Her collections are found in specialty boutiques throughout the United States as well as on the World Wide Web.
